<div itemprop="description">Reverend James (Jim) Alexander Fraser, passed away Sunday November 6, 2016 of complications to renal failure, surrounded by his family in Kelowna, British Columbia. There will be two Celebration of Life Receptions: In Kelowna, BC on Tuesday November 15 at Mission Creek Alliance Church. Drop in between 6-8pm for an informal time of sharing and caring. In London, Ontario on Saturday November 19th a Graveside Service with family at 10:30 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Reception at Hillcrest Community Church Salvation Army at 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.<br><br>Jim was born in Dundas, Ontario October 9th1938 to George and Rose Fraser. At a young age Jim was called into the ministry and faithfully served the Lord in various church and para-church ministries. Serving as a Salvation Army Officer across Canada and then as a Church minister in Surrey BC, Owen Sound, Lindsay, and East Nissouri, Ontario. Jim served with Youth for Christ and as Executive Director of Ark Aid Street Mission in London, Ontario until retiring in 2009. Jim moved with family to Kelowna BC in 2010. Jim gave his life to serving Jesus Christ and led a life that impacted many through his passion for helping others in giving them a hand up. Jim could be heard whistling everywhere he went, loved to sing and always had time to stop and ask you questions and care. He loved life, his family, his puppies, and loved Christmas. Jim’s programs and services were highlights for many through the years, his heart was for people and his legacy of love and encouragement will be missed. <br><br>Jim is survived by his wife Alberta, son Tim Fraser and wife Kathy, grandchildren Jon & Brandon of Manilla, Ontario. Daughter Pamela Grimm, and husband Paul of Kelowna, BC. Grandson Alex & wife Danie, great grandchildren Addyln and Liam of Vernon, BC. Grandchildren Arianna and Denver Grimm of Kelowna BC. His siblings and spouses George & Diane Fraser of Grimsby, Ontario, John & Faye Fraser of Calgary, Alberta, and many nieces and nephews. Pre Deceased by his parents and two sisters Beverly Burket and Joy MacArthur. <br><br></div>
