<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Beryl Laura Pine at University Hospital, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. Beryl was born in Smiths Falls, Ontario on September 2, 1934. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Fred Pine, with whom she had many adventures. Together they lived in Toronto, New York, Damascus, Syria and Minnesota before settling in London, Ontario. Beryl was a lover of books and music and was a lifelong learner, graduating in 1987 from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Classical Studies. Cherished mother of Sharifi Houssian (Drake), Tarik (Rowena) Pine and Karim Pine (Malti Tewari). Proud Tete to Kale, Danna, Maya, Priya, Jaya and Alexandria, loving sister-in-law of Ivy Campbell and lifetime friends Hanny Hassan and Najet Hassan. Predeceased by her parents Marjorie and William Campbell, brother Roy Campbell and her furry yellow lab Sunny. Special thanks to all of the staff at Marion Villa, St. Marys Long Term Care and Dr. Keith Thompson for their dedicated care and friendship. Friends will be received by the family from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1997 Dundas Street East (at Wavell), London, where the celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made online to Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario, www.parkinsonsociety.ca.</div>
