<div itemprop="description">Maureen (nee Smith) (Martin) Johnston passed away peacefully in her 77th year at Parkwood Hospital on Monday May 9th after a short battle with cancer. Previous wife of the late Dave Martin and then Jim Johnston. Dear mother to Greg Martin and daughter-in-law Terri, Connie Wardrop (Martin), and son-in-law Murray Wardrop and his partner Liz Morrison, Jody Shaw (Martin) and partner Paul McCann, and son-in-law Dan Shaw. Loving Nana to Krystle (and Doug), Mandy (and Aaron), Jake, Ashleigh (late), Maddy (and Mario), Marshall (and Kelsey), Mackenzie (and Shawn), Macy & Cole. Cherished Gigi to Lilah and Reese. Dear sister of Russell Smith (late), Rick Smith and Graham Smith. Also surviving are her many nieces, nephews and their families. A special thank you to the staff at Parkwood Hospital who made Maureen’s last week so comfortable; Virgie, PJ, Jackie and Munira.
