<div itemprop="description">At Parkwood Veterans Care, on Monday, November 2, 2015, Kay in her 98th year, was reunited with God. Loving wife to the late Joseph (1984). Kay is lovingly remembered by her children and their families, Gayle (Derek) McClintock; Andrew and Matthew, Jo-Anne (late Harry) Geris; Jason, Shawn and Ryan, June Knight; Jennifer and Christina, Barbara (David) Kilback; Paul, Michael, Richard and Lori, Marilyn (Phil) Dickerson; Melissa and Danny, Ed (Elaine) Knight; Tara, Robert and late B.J., Gary Knight; Cole, Wesley and Gary. Also missed by 25 great-grandchildren. Kay was born in Transcona, Manitoba. At 21 she enlisted in the R.C.A.F and spent the war years posted in Gander, Newfoundland. In Gander, she met and married Joe and after discharge they settled in London, ON. Her 5 girls followed in quick succession joined by 2 boys a few years later. Always of modest means Kay worked hard for her family all her life. She was very proud of her family. Kay was unfailingly kind, cheerful and appreciative of others. She approached life with no fear of its ups and downs and a strong will which she maintained right up to her passing. Special appreciation is extended to the nurses and staff at Parkwood Veterans Care, for their loving care and dedication. A Celebration of Kay&rsquo;s Life will be held at FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkwood Veterans Care or The Salvation Army.</div>
