<div itemprop="description">Edith Lillian Buttery (ne’ Smith), 76 years of age, passed suddenly and peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at University Hospital in London, Ontario. She is survived by her loving Husband of 54 years Winston; Son Darryl and his Wife Debbie Birrell; Daughter Kerrie and her Husband Graham Kueneman; Grandson Nick; Granddaughter Ashley and her Husband LJ Wessel; Great Granddaughter Peyton and Great Grandson Sawyer; Sister Hazel and her Husband Ron Berman; Brother Earl and his Wife Loretta Smith; and a large extended family and many friends. <br>She was our rock and will be sorely missed by all. <br>There will be a brief visitation with the family followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Service at 3pm on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home located at 1997 Dundas Street East in London, Ontario. The internment will be private and will follow at a later date. <br>In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. <br>We ask that you respect the family’s privacy in their time of grieving. <br> <br>Lastly, anyone who knew Edith well knew her sense of humour. With that in mind, those attending the service who might have a funny story about her will be welcome and encouraged to tell it. If you have a story that you wish to share on Saturday, please be sure to let us know. If you feel that you are (or might) be unable to speak, please feel free to bring a typed or hand-written note and we will have someone read it for you. <br> <br>ADDENDUM: Please note that there was a typo in the address for the memorial service which has now been corrected. <br> <br></div>
