<div itemprop="description">David Kenneth Weatherbee, in his 65th year passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on 8th March, 2016 at Victoria Hospital in London Ontario. He was born on 8th April, 1950 in Brantford, Ontario and was the beloved son of Derald and Murial Weatherbee. Dave grew up in Scotland, Ontario. He graduated from Waterford High school in 1969. He later went on to pursue a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from the University of Western Ontario. <br />Dave (otherwise known to his work colleagues as &ldquo;Weatherbee&rdquo;) retired from an accomplished career at General Dynamics Land Systems - Canada in 2013 where he dedicated himself to over 35 years of service. Dave married his high school sweetheart Deb on 6th March, 1971 in Scotland, Ontario. They were happily married for 45 years and had two loving daughters. Dave was preceded in death by his parents Derald and Murial Weatherbee, and his youngest sister Norma-Lee. He is survived by the love of his life, his spouse Deb Weatherbee, his daughters Lorie Irwin (Jason) and Karie Watt (Trevor), his brothers Dan Weatherbee, DJ Weatherbee (Alice) and sister Joyce Hutson (Ken). Dave was blessed with four adoring grandchildren; Wyatt Irwin (Buddy Boy), Viktoria Irwin (Sweetie), as well as Maddi and Chloe Watt (His Little Princesses). Dave will be greatly missed by many family, friends, and colleagues. A Private service will be held at Forest Lawn funeral home in London, Ontario on 11th March 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Marconi Club in London, Ontario on 10th April, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm to honor Dave. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to London Regional Cancer Centre. <br /></div>
