<div itemprop="description">Peacefully at home on September 19, 2016 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband to Hilda of 56 years. Devoted and loving father of Peter and Lisa (Tony). Proud and loving Grandad to Emmalyn, Kalvin, Rogan, Hannah, Abigail, Aaron, Hayley, Kaine, Paige and Mya. Predeceased by parents Mary and Arthur, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Arthur will be sadly missed by his family in England along with nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Special Thank You to Dr. Dzongowski, Dr. Ballingall, Dr. Smith, R.N.'s Rosayln and Stephanie and the support from VON Care. Arthur Joined the British Army as a Paratrooper and was posted to the Middle East (Egypt) as a member of The 9th Parachute Field Squadron Royal Engineers. 50 years later he received his Medal for war service. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Thursday September 22, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. with a Mass to follow Friday September 23, 2016 at St. Patrick’s Parish 377 Oakland Ave. at 11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program. <br></div>
